Kelli maintains an office in Charlotte while working jointly with Karen on education cases. Her primary areas of practice include education law, estate planning, and criminal law. Prior to becoming an attorney, Kelli was a public school educator in special education for ten years. Her focus was students in secondary education and has ABA therapy training. She also holds a National Board Certification for teaching.
Kelli earned her B.S. degree from Wingate University, her master’s degree in education from High Point University, and her Juris Doctor from Charlotte School of Law.
Kelli has previously conducted a training on special education law to paralegals and presented a CLE on special education law to school personnel and attorneys in North Carolina. She is a member of the Mecklenburg County Bar Association and a member of COPAA. She holds a current bar license for the state of North Carolina and is sworn into the Federal Court for the Western and Middle District of North Carolina.
When Kelli is not working she spends time with her husband and two daughters. She is happiest when she is doing any kind of outdoor activity with her family.
